Constitutional Court Landscape Development — Ankara, Türkiye | 2013

Client Needs

The client required a complete landscape environment suitable for one of Türkiye’s major national institutions. Beyond creating attractive green spaces around the newly completed complex, the project required fully integrated landscape infrastructure to support large planting areas, pedestrian and recreational circulation, water management, and ongoing seasonal plant production.

Garden Conditions & Challenges

The project began as a large-scale construction site requiring extensive coordination between landscape, civil and infrastructure works. The challenge was not simply to establish gardens, but to build the underlying systems that would allow the entire landscape to function effectively.

This included drainage and irrigation infrastructure, large-scale water storage, hardscape construction, pathways, water features and extensive planting across multiple zones of the property.

Our Solution

We delivered the landscape works as an integrated construction project, beginning with site preparation and underground infrastructure and continuing through hardscape, irrigation and planting.

The scope included a site-wide drainage system, automatic irrigation system, a 300-ton water storage reservoir, running paths, granite cube stone paving, a cascading marble water feature, extensive lawn and ornamental planting, and a fully automated greenhouse designed for the production of seasonal plants used throughout the property.

Trees, shrubs, lawns and seasonal planting were then integrated with the circulation routes and architectural setting to create a structured and cohesive institutional landscape.
