Client Needs
The homeowners wanted to completely transform their existing garden into a more contemporary, functional and distinctive outdoor living space. They were looking for a cohesive design that would improve circulation, create stronger visual character and provide comfortable areas for everyday use and entertaining. Custom details were especially important to them, so the project needed to go beyond standard landscaping solutions and include unique architectural and outdoor living elements tailored specifically to the property.
Garden Conditions & Challenges
The project involved a complete redesign rather than a simple landscape refresh. Because the garden included multiple functional zones and several custom-built elements, one of the main challenges was making sure every component felt connected as part of one overall design.
The paving, walkways, deck, Corten steel panels, custom gate, lighting elements, planting and outdoor fire pit all needed to work together visually and functionally. Careful detailing was especially important at transitions between materials and spaces so the finished garden would feel intentional, balanced and custom-built rather than assembled from separate features.
